I wanted to share something fun happening this week.
Two of our Accent Music Lessons instructors will be performing at District Nights on 1st Street in O’Fallon, IL this Thursday, August 6th. The city closes down the street and features live music at both ends, creating a great outdoor festival atmosphere.
John Dittmann will be performing with Thursday’s Hazy, and Chris Buckley will be on the main stage with the Scott Keller Band. It’s a fun coincidence that both groups include Accent instructors, and we’d love to see familiar faces in the crowd.
The festival runs from 5:00 PM - 9:00, with the bands starting at 6:00 PM. There will be plenty of vendors, food, and activities. My band played last year, and it was an absolute blast. Last year’s turnout was huge, and this year already looks even bigger. Over 800 people have already marked themselves as attending this time around.
